Our Story
Ben and Eddie met at the University of Illinois and quickly bonded over their love of food. What started as sitting near each other in class and talking about restaurants turned into a shared interest in cooking and bringing people together around a table. Capocuoco came from that idea. We wanted to create a space where we could cook the food we love, have people around the table, and share a night together.

Ben Rademaker & Eddie Flannery

Chef Ben brings a lot of creativity to the kitchen, especially when it comes to pastries. After working at The Elm, he not only helped design the cocktail menu but also focused on lowering food costs and finding ways to make the restaurant run more efficiently. Outside of the day-to-day restaurant work, Ben has spent countless hours testing and tweaking his pastries through plenty of trial and error, a process he shares on his Instagram @ehlenradcook
Chef Eddie’s love for Italian food really started during his internship at Saranello's, where he got to spend time learning the ins and outs of Italian cooking. Since then, he’s continued experimenting and finding ways to put his own spin on what he learned. This pop-up is his third restaurant concept, and he’s excited to bring all of those experiences together for a night centered around good food, good people, and a great time at the table.
